We have worked on business analytics for one of our reputed client. This project was based upon Salesforce data integration with Tableau server to develop and publish reports on Tableau Server. Major aspect of this project was to show the Tableau dashboard within the salesforce along with a secured view on Tableau Server.

  • Prepared data model on Tableau desktop by connecting Salesforce as the data source.
  • Designed custom data model by combining multiple objects from salesforce including standard and custom objects.
  • We designed multiple secured dashboards for Sales Management and Supply Chain Management.
  • Major task was to incorporate Tableau reports in Salesforce interface with appropriate filters on relevant object definitions.
  • Defined views on salesforce using VisualForce Pages and Tableau Server links.
  • Used Tableau to Salesforce Canvas connector to best use the standard functionality to cut down the complexity for client to manage it independently.
