Miri Infotech is launching a product which will configure and publish DataMelt, to produce free implementations of distributed or otherwise scalable and high available resources which are embedded pre-configured tool with Ubuntu and ready-to-launch AMI on Amazon EC2 that contains JAVA, GNOME.DataMelt is a mathematical tool with an easy interface. It has an interactive UI used for computations, statistical analysis, symbolic calculation and visualization.

This tool is configured for interactive plots in 2D and 3D and contains numerical scientific libraries written in Java for mathematical/statistical functions, random integers, curve plotting and other data mining methods.

In today’s work environment, one always need a complete framework where he/she can very easily analyze their requirements and functionality and get the results in a proper displayed manner. And for this purpose, a tool DataMelt is launched which not only analyzes your data but also depict it in a whole different form other than pie charts, graphs etc.

It brings along a coherent user interface and tools competitive to commercial programs. It is basically a collaboration of mathematical and numerical software packages with GUI-type user interfaces into a coherent program in which the main user interface is based on short-named Java/Python classes.

Scripts and Java code can be executed either in a GUI of DataMelt or as batch(.sh) programs.  It incorporates over 40,000 Java classes for computation and visualization also more than 4000 classes come with its API’s. It also includes plugins for Groovy and Ruby. All libraries are used by dynamic scripting method.

After discussing what we mean by DataMelt, we should now further proceed to its amazing features and we can then deeply understand, what it is actually meant for and how the users can take benefit by implementing those features.

Some features of DataMelt are:

  • 2Dand 3D interactive visualization of data, functions, histograms, charts.
  • Analytic calculations using MATLAB or Octave
  • Histogramsin 2D and 3D, as well as profile histograms.
  • Random numbersand statistical samples.
  • Functions, including parametric equationsin 3D.
  • Contourplots, scatter plots.
  • Neural networks.

Supported programming languages:

It is compatible with many scripting languages for JAVA platform like Jython (Python programming language), Groovy, JRuby and BeanShell. These scripting languages use common JAVA API. Data analytics and statistical computation can be done in JAVA using this tool. Symbolic calculations are performed using Matlab or Octave high-level interpreted language integrated with JAVA.

Supported platforms:

DataMelt runs on all operating systems. The software represents the high-quality analytics environment which can be used on any hardware-platform like desktops, laptops, netbooks, and tablets.
